Tours

The essential details of the tours are described in every tour's respective page on the website https://globalenterprises.be/. Should there be any disparities between the English and other language versions, the English ones apply.

However, Global Enterprises reserves the right to vary the itineraries in order to improve each tour to the tour members' enjoyment and advantage or if the tour is disrupted by events beyond Global Enteprises' control.

At any time it is the sole responsibility of the participants to meet their travel schedule.

Bookings

Bookings can be made till one hour before the start of tour through the website https://globalenterprises.be/. Bookings are only valid once they are fully paid for and the payment has been confirmed by Global Enteprises.

After receiving the payment confirmation the participant will be sent a voucher to the email address specified at the time of booking. The participant needs to present the voucher at the beginning of the tour to the tour guide, failing to do so will result in not being able to participate in the tour.

The tour can be rescheduled to within 12 months from the date of the initial booking by notifying Global Enterprises by sending a clearly written email to info@globalenterprises.be at least one hour before the start of the tour, stating the booking reference and the new date of the tour. Any later modification requests will not be accepted.

Global Enterprises reserves the right to cancel and reschedule any tour departure in accordance with operation requirements. In case of cancellation or reschedule, the participants will be notified 42 hours before departure and offered the option to choose between a refund or rescheduling the tour.

Payments

All bookings need to be fully paid for in advance of the tour. Some available payment methods do not have instant confirmation and it is the responsability of the participant to ensure that Global Enterprises will receive the payment at least one hour before the start of the tour.

Cancellations and refunds

The participant may cancel a booking at any time by sending a clearly written notice to info@globalenterprises.be. When cancelling at least 14 or 7 days before the initial tour date, a 100% or 50% refund will be offered, respectively. In any other case no refunds will be offered.

Participants' conduct

Please note that the legal age of drinking alcohol in Brussels is 16. We reserve the right to deny access to participants below this age to any tours involving alcohol consumption.

We may at our discretion require any person to alight from a tour if we deem their conduct offensive or a nuisance to other participants, or if behaving in such a way as to constitute a risk to their safety or to the safety of other participants, and we shall have no further liability.

Complaints

Should the participant have a complaint about any of their tour arrangements, the participant must notify both the tour guide and Global Enterprises by e-mail (info@globalenterprises.be) or by phone (+32 047 931 9003). Failure to do so may result in the participant's compensation, if applicable, being reduced. Each case will be looked at individually.

Special circumstances

No compensation of any kind or responsibility can be taken if, due to circumstances beyond the control of us or the relevant service providers, we have to notify a change to your arrangements or we or the relevant service providers cannot supply your arrangements in full or in part as agreed. A circumstance beyond our or the relevant service providers' control is one that cannot be foreseen or avoided, even after taking all due care and includes but is not limited to war, terrorist activity, civil unrest, industrial disputes and bad weather or forecasts. In those cases cancellations will not be accepted. However, reschedules of the tours will be accepted according to the normal rescheduling policy.

Global Enterprises will not be held responsible for any loss, theft, accidents, injury or delays which may occur either by reason or defect or as act of government or other civil authorities (strikes, heavy weather, etc.) or from any cause beyond Global Enterprises' control.

Confidentiality

Global Enteprises will take any reasonable measures to protect the personal data of the participants; it will not be forwarded to third parties unless it is neccesary for providing the tours or the proper functioning of the company. The participants will not be contacted for anything unrelated to the tour or service they have booked.

We collect and store any data submitted by the user (e.g. while making a booking), except for credit card information that gets sent directly to the relevant payments processor. We also use cookies for the proper functioning of the website and analytics purposes.

Place of jurisdiction

Belgian laws apply. Any disputes arising will be settled before a competent Belgian court of law.
